Schedule Management

Project schedules are created and updated using Microsoft Project scheduling software. A schedule will be provided before construction begins and updated every two weeks. An updated schedule will also be submitted with each pay application.
Construction Masters conducts weekly progress meetings on site to discuss the schedule’s status. Project meetings will be held on a weekly basis at the project site.

Those in attendance from Construction Masters will include:

  • Project Superintendent
  • Project Manager
  • Safety Manager (when necessary)
  • Applicable Sub-Contractors
  • Construction Master will keep meeting minutes and distribute to appropriate individuals within 24 hours of the meeting
  • The following topics will be discussed:
  • Overview of previous week’s progress
  • Problems/ issues encountered during previous weeks progress
  • Action taken on items discussed in previous week’s meeting
  • Owner operations for upcoming  week
  • Potential issues for upcoming week
  • Schedule for upcoming week
  • Update overall project schedule

 

Prior to beginning a new sequence of work the Construction Team will meet to discuss the individual components of the work in relation to the overall project schedule. Items discussed may include:

  • The status of the project schedule
  • Any issues surrounding previous sequence of work
  • Potential safety issues regarding this sequence of work
  • Delivery dates for materials used on this sequence of work as well as upcoming work
  • Potential issues that may arise during this sequence of work and possible solutions for these issues
  • Owner activities that may affect construction
  • Inspection Schedules
  • Quality Assurance
  • Possible means of accelerating project schedule
  • Timeline for next sequence of work
