Additional Benefits

Disaster Recovery

As a contractor along the Texas Gulf Coast, we find ourselves recovering from natural disasters from time to time. From hurricanes and tropical storms to tornados, fires and floods we have faced it all and from these past experiences we have developed a comprehensive action plan to get businesses back up and running with as little downtime as possible.
A truly successful recovery effort is one that is planned prior to the event rather than simply reacting to the event. Our expertise in planning and quick action following a catastrophe will help to ensure that our clients suffer the least possible damage.
Our staff has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance providers as well as FEMA. Our clients incur little to no loss financially on majority of the claims we handle.
Following Hurricane Ike, the Construction Masters Team was the 1st responders to San Jacinto College. San Jacinto suffered $7,000,000 in damages to their 40 building spread over 3 campuses in Houston. Two days following the storm, Construction Masters had assembled over 400 men to begin the recovery process. In two weeks time, all but one building was reopened and classes resumed. The College recovered all but their 2.5 million dollar deductible from their insurance provider. The then worked with FEMA to successfully have the 2.5 million dollar deductible reimbursed which prevented the College from suffering any financial loss.

LEED “Green” Construction

Construction Masters has gone “Green”. We are currently constructing our first LEED certified building for Associated Credit Union in League City, Texas. The 30,000 square feet building is schedule to receive a Silver rating upon its completion in January of 2010. We have worked hand in hand with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the design process to ensure that this facility meets the requirements necessary to achieve this certification.
Long Term Cost of Doing Business
Construction Masters has been operating under its current name in Pearland, Texas since 1987. During that time, thousands of construction companies have come and gone in Houston. This is sure to make Owners uncomfortable when selecting a contractor. Our long-term sustainability in this volatile construction industry should give Owners comfort in knowing that they have contracted a company that will exist for years to come for all their construction needs.

We encourage you to contact representative references on our completed project list to discuss our integrity when it comes to standing by our work. Again, we are in the business to make long-lasting business relationships and not just to make a quick buck. We will stand by our work and give you the product you expect at all cost.

Closeout and Warranties

Construction Masters will guarantee that all closeout documents and warranties are submitted within 45 calendar days of substantial completion. As part of our “subcontract agreement” with our contractors, we require that they submit all closeout documents and operation manuals with theirs submittal package prior to beginning work. This ensures that the project is closed out in a timely manner.

It is our policy that we respond to any “non-emergency” warranty item within 48 hours of the request and complete that item within 7 days of the request.
We have a 24 hour emergency response plan in place for any emergency warranty items. A Construction Masters’ employee is available 24 hours a day for any emergency item.
